POWHATAN, Jan. 27 – Brendell Hatcher, 86, of Powhatan, departed this life on Monday, January 24, 2011 in Richmond.

She is survived by a daughter, Wanda Evans (Clyde); son, Frolin Hatcher (Helen); two grandchildren, Dante' Evans (Rubyaida), and Dwayne Hatcher (Flora); four great-grandchildren; brother, Frederick Goff; two sisters-in-law; devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, one devoted, Pearl Smith; and devoted neighbors, Howard and Betty Clark.

Her remains rest at Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home where public viewing will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Center Union Baptist Church, Cumberland. The Rev. Stevie Trent, pastor, will be officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home, Cumberland, is in charge of arrangements.
