At its March 12 meeting, the Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors recognized the County’s March Employee of the Month, Trey Pyle. Pyle is the County’s Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator and Community Development Specialist. He is a four-year employee of the County.
“Trey works hard twenty-four hours per day/seven days per week/365 days per year, for the greater good of Prince Edward County,” said Douglas P. Stanley, County Administrator. “He is tireless in his efforts with emergency management, fire response and emergency medical services. His leadership and management of the county’s drone program in support of search and rescue and other efforts has significantly elevated our response capabilities.”
“Trey has coordinated the efforts that culminated in the approval of our community’s new public safety radio system and he has been successful working on grants to fund public safety equipment for fire and EMS. Prince Edward County is fortunate to have such an inspired and dedicated employee,” stated Stanley.
To be considered for Employee of the Month, an employee must demonstrate at least one of the County’s core values: customer service, teamwork, innovation initiative, attitude displayed, and positive action.
