CARTERSVILLE, December 20 – Patricia Gills Pepper, 68, of Cartersville, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 17, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paulus C. and Minnie C. Gills, and three brothers, Paulus, David and Allen Gills, all of Powhatan.

She is survived by her husband, William E. Pepper Jr.; two sons, William E. Pepper III and wife, Vicki, and Joel L. Pepper and wife, Kristin; four grandchildren, Karleigh, William IV, Jordan and Kate; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Roy and Susan Robbins, all of Cartersville; siblings, Ruth Cooper, Bertha Kantzler, Jimmy Gills (Elizabeth), Nancy Barden (Rucker), Virginia McKenzie, Tommy Gills, Dorothy Canon, Helen Bryan (Nick) and Charlotte Sims (Monty); many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Her grandchildren were the love of her life. She supported their activities at school and in the community. She enjoyed her work, her family and her love of flowers. She was known for her generous spirit and her hospitality.

A private memorial service will be held for the family.
