Ruth Pearl Allen Watkins, 97 of Farmville, passed away March 2. Funeral service was held on Saturday, March 9, at 1 p.m., at New Life Church, Farmville. Interment was in the Cornerstone Baptist Church Cemetery, Cumberland. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville served the family.

Jean Lewis, 86 of Buckingham, passed away March 9. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 16 at 11 a.m., at Fork Union Baptist Church, Buckingham. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Reid’s Funeral Home of Dillwyn is serving the family.

James J. Scott, 62 of Richmond, passed away Feb. 29. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 16 at 11 a.m., at the Minor B. Eggleston Chapel. Interment will be in the High Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. Carl U. Eggleston Funeral Establishment is serving the family.

Robert Banks, 87 of Dillwyn, passed away March 9. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 16, at 2 p.m., at Reid’s Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Gravel Hill Community Cemetery, Fluvanna. Reid’s Funeral Home of Dillwyn is serving the family.

Elbert Beasley Jr., 92 of Prospect, passed away March 10. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 17, at 2 p.m., at Peaks Baptist Church, Prospect. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville is serving the family.
