The Curdsville Community Center has a new president for 2024. That would be Mark Allman, a 2015 graduate of the Citadel who currently works as a purchasing manager for Rock River Homes.
Allman recently moved to the Buckingham area from Northern Virginia with his wife, Leah and 10-month-old daughter, Emma.
“We are confident that Allman’s outstanding leadership and expertise will be invaluable in guiding the Curdsville Community Center through its next phase of growth and development,” Curdsville Community Center members said in a statement.
The group also offered special thanks to Ron Dowdy for all he has done and continues to do to make the Community Center the special gathering place that so many have come to treasure.
The Curdsville Community Center has a meeting the first Monday of every month at 6 p.m., including a pot-luck dinner and program. The March program was a Share-your-Hobby night where people were encouraged to bring their hobbies to display.
