Carlton H. “Mike” Lafoon recently retired from the Centra Southside Community Hospital's Board of Directors. Lafoon has served CSCH for 37 years, beginning April 27, 1976. As a member of the Board, Lafoon rendered advice, counsel and support to CSCH. He has also served as chairman of the Board of Directors, vice chairman of the Board of Directors, member of the Executive Committee, member of the Building and Grounds Committee, and Chairman of the Finance Committee. In recognition of his service a resolution was passed and added to the minutes; a copy given to Lafoon.
