Mary Hunter Gallalee, left, treasurer of the Judith Randolph-Longwood (JR-L) Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), presents Bonnie George, Museum Store Manager at Patrick Henry’s Red Hill and JR-L Chapter member, with a donation during the JR-L Christmas Luncheon. The luncheon was held in the Farmville Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall on Dec. 9. Patrick Henry’s Red Hill, located in Brookneal, was “the final home and burial place of American patriot and firebrand of the Revolution, Patrick Henry.” The grounds include Patrick Henry’s reconstructed house, gravesite, Law Office and other outbuildings, and the Museum Shop.
