DECEMBER 4 – Katy E. Reid, 84, of Farmville, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012 in Farmville. She was born September 19, 1928 to the late George and Nellie Ellis. She was the widow of Charles A. Reid. She loved spending time with all of her family.

She is survived by a son, Kirk Reid (Trina) of Farmville; grandsons, Christopher Reid (Robin) of Farmville and Whitney Reid of Richmond as well as her great grandson, Tristan Stinson of Cumberland.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 6, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Shorter Funeral Home with interment to follow in Westview Cemetery.
