Gary Dean Bryant, 64 of Farmville, passed away on Dec. 16. Gary was formerly from Buckingham County. A memorial service will be held at a later date to remember him. Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, is serving the family.

Desmon Demon Croner, 35 of Pamplin, passed away Dec. 16. Funeral service will be held on Friday, Dec. 22, at 11 a.m., at Zion Baptist Church, Pamplin. Interment will be in the Croner Family Cemetery, Pamplin. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville is serving the family.

Brenda Davis Walker, 71 of Prospect, passed away Dec. 16. Funeral service will be held on Friday, Dec. 22, at 1 p.m., at Mt. Moriah Upper Room Baptist Church, Farmville. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville is serving the family.

Pocahontas “Polly” Simpson Duncan, 88, departed her earthly life on Nov. 3, surrounded by her loving family. Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 27, at 11 a.m., at Oakwood United Methodist Church, 1291 Columbia Road, Columbia, VA 23038.
