Stephon Rucker, 62 of Portland, Oregon, formerly of Meherrin, passed away Nov. 28. Funeral service was held on Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 1 p.m., at New Bethel Baptist Church, Meherrin. Interment was in the church cemetery. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville served the family.

Betty Jean (Scott) Lee, 65 of Rice, passed away Dec. 7. Funeral service will be held Friday, Dec. 15, at 1 p.m. at High Rock Baptist Church, Rice. Internment will be in the church cemetery. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville is serving the family.

Bertha Alice Trent Harmon, 96 of Farmville, passed away Dec. 11. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 16, at noon, at the Chapel of Bland-Reid Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church Cemetery, Dillwyn. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville is serving the family.
