It was great to see Thanksgiving celebrations happening around Farmville last week. I am thankful to God for the privilege of being a part of this community. My wife Sherri, and myself are experiencing the sweetest season of serving here among you. It is important to continue this grace and support for one another, inspiring each other to holiness.
The diversity of people God is bringing together here in Farmville constantly reminds me of our common salvation because of our one Shepherd, Jesus Christ. The beauty of diversity requires grace. Grace during recoveries, grace with our language, grace in cultural differences, grace in song selection, grace in dress styles, grace in expression of worship to God, and patience endurance in times of failure. The grace God has shown each of us, is the same grace we extend to one another.
Grace and truth go hand in hand. Without truth, you really can’t have grace. As the truth of God’s Word continues to grow among us, may our hearts be yielded to repentance, and willing to change. God’s grace is never a license to sin, but a gracious invitation to renewal and fresh surrender.
May we rejoice together in the marvelous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and His Spirit which is moving mightily among us. May we never quench this movement of God. I encourage each of you in this community to join the search for a meaningful, genuine relationship with Jesus, He is only a prayer away.
