Thelma Lorraine Eanes Smith, 84 of Farmville, passed away Nov. 22. Funeral service was held on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 11 a.m., at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Farmville. Interment was in the Eanes Family Cemetery, Farmville. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville served the family.

Velma P. Jones, 72 of Buckingham, passed away Nov. 22. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 1 p.m., at Buckingham Middle School. Interment will be in the Slate River Baptist Church Cemetery, Dillwyn. Reid’s Funeral Home of Dillwyn is serving the family.

Marshall Hugh Bryant, 79 of Appomattox, passed away Oct. 27. Graveside service will be held on Dec. 2, at 2 p.m., in the Bryant Family Cemetery, 4383 Spears Mt. Road, Wingina. Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, is serving the family.
