BUCKINGHAM – It's auction time for the Arvonia Volunteer Fire Department. On Friday, December 7, beginning at 7 p.m., the firefighters will host their annual Christmas Auction, at the firehouse.
Thus far, the inventory includes a great assortment of new and used items including tools, toys, household items, furniture, and lots of miscellaneous stuff.
Area residents who are sprucing up their houses for the holidays and want to rid their closets, garages, basements, and attics of unwanted items in good condition are reminded that the Arvonia firefighters would appreciate those donations for the auction.
Just drop items off at the building beside the firehouse or call Steve Toney at (434)581-3002 to arrange for pick-up.
Along with offering an opportunity for good bargains, this auction also provides an evening with neighbors and friends joining together to support a great cause-the AVFD.
