FARMVILLE – Chuck Ross had a scoop for Town Council last week.

So you better watch out and certainly don't cry.

“The big news is,” said the Downtown Farmville board member, “Santa Claus is coming to Farmville.” There will be a North Pole set up beginning on November 24 at 115 North Main Street, in a building owned by Key Office Supply owner Jim Ailsworth, who is warmly greeting Santa.

“And Santa will be there starting November 24 for the next five Saturdays I believe,” he told council members during their regular November meeting. “So parents and kids will be able to come downtown and visit Santa on Main Street.”
