CUMBERLAND, October 30 – Billy Ray Helton, 60, of Cumberland, went on to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 27, 2012. He was born August 30, 1952 in Elizabethton, TN, the son of the late Millard and Mary Pauline Helton.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Helton; children, Kimberly Freeze, Jesse Helton, Andrea Hackney, Carl Hilton, Shawn Hilton; brothers, Edward Helton of Burkeville, Gene Helton of Cumberland, Steve Helton of Cumberland and the late Charles Helton of Cumberland; Mary West of Powhatan, Patsy Johnson of Chesterfield, Nancy Rickmond of Cumberland and Diane Justice of Cumberland; 12 grandchildren; a great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held November 5 at 6 p.m. at Calvery Tabernacle in Farmville.
