Cecelia Gertrude Day Culler, 71

JUNE 19 – Cecelia Gertrude Day Culler, 71, wife of David Alan Culler, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2012 at her home in Farmville. She was born March 8, 1941 in Richmond to the late John R. Jr. and Gertrude S. Day.
She grew up in Richmond, graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School and Radford College. Mrs. Culler was employed by Longwood University for 20 years and during that time gave freely of her time and talents to others via HOVFC and the FUMC.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Culler is survived by a daughter, Jill Elaine Culler of Columbia, MD, and a brother, John Robert Day of Noank, CT.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 21, at the Farmville United Methodist Church with the Reverend Sylvia Meadows officiating and a reception will follow at the church.
Committal services at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond will be at noon on Friday, June 22.
