Edith Adams Hall, 88

LYNCHBURG, June 14 – Edith Adams Hall, 88, of Lynchburg, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. She was the wife of Gary Eugene Hall.
Born December 10, 1923 in Charles City County, she was the daughter of the late Lee Fitchett and Lottie Lampkin Adams and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Edna Garrett and Elsie Perkins and two brothers, Floyd and Lewis Adams. She was retired from the Central Virginia Training Center.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hall is survived by a daughter, Linda Bates of Lynchburg; two brothers, Edward Adams and wife, Carol of Kinston, NC and Russell Adams and wife, Brenda of Alpharetta, GA; two sisters, Louise Smith of Christiansburg and Ivor Scruggs LeWarne and husband, Jim of Prospect and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 16 at the Olive Branch United Methodist Church Cemetery in Prince Edward County.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Friday, June 15, at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel.
