Mana Lois Little, 89, former long-time resident of Dawson Springs, KY died Sunday June 3, 2012 at the Woodlands in Farmville. She was born July 30, 1922 to Ed and Bessie Dillingham.
Mrs. Little lived her whole life in Dawson Springs until she moved to Virginia in 2003. She worked 25 years for Kentucky Utilities in Dawson Springs. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church and was active in community events. She loved to travel to visit her daughter and grandchildren wherever they were stationed with the US Navy. She loved Dawson Springs and KY Wildcat Basketball.
Her greatest love however, was for friends and family. She enjoyed holidays, gift giving, picnics and any opportunity to get together and enjoy the company of others. She was known for her warmth, generosity and love. She was well known and loved by the staff at the Woodlands for her sweet spirit.
She is survived by her only daughter, Marsha Anne Brickeen and husband, Jerry of Farmville; two grandchildren, Rebecca Williams of Farmville and Paul Brickeen of Virginia Beach; seven great-grandchildren, Kyle, Michael, Jeffrey, Matthew, Meghan, Nicholas, and Melissa; great-great-grandchild, Jaylee; sisters-in-law, Ruth Dillingham and Polly Dillingham; three nieces and two nephews and their children who all reside in the Dawson Springs and Princeton area. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Little, her parents, brothers, Niles and Norris Dillingham and a sister, Doris Dockery.
A memorial service will be held later in the summer at the First Baptist Church of Dawson Springs.
