April 5 – “The beauty of any day is reflected in your heart.”

The Prospect Fire Department Auxiliary will have their annual spaghetti supper on Saturday, April 14, from 5-7 p.m. at the firehouse. The menu will include spaghetti, salad, bread, tea, lemonade and dessert. The cost is just a donation. Everyone is invited!

Douglas, Betty Jean, Stacy and Flora Bolt attended the Easter musical “The Choice” at New Life Church on Sunday, April 1. Following the performance, the Bolts, Chace Davis, Travis Mast and Jordan Waddell enjoyed dinner in town. Chace and Travis were a part of the cast of “The Choice.”

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Noblin have returned home from Chesapeake following a visit with their son and his family, Mr. and Mrs. David Noblin, Brady and Allie. They celebrated Brady and his Grandmother Betty's birthday. Brady and Betty share a birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Meadows traveled to Powhatan on Sunday where they met their daughter and her family, Mr. and Mrs. Andy (Julia) Shotwell, Josh, Zack and Kate for lunch and some family time.

Scott and Hilda Friend were joined by Don and Betty Meadows, and Richard and Margaret Stockton at Merk's on Monday for breakfast and fellowship. Later Betty Meadows and Margaret Stockton enjoyed visiting Dolly Worthy at her home and Eloise Tucker at Brookview.

The Fulcher family, John and Shirley Fulcher, Henry Fulcher, Betty Fulcher, Pearl Fulcher, Mary Fulcher, Elsie St.John, Da-vid and Carol Lee Fulcher, Joe and Gladys Fulcher, Marie Garrett, and Nancy LeSueur met at Merk's last Saturday night for family time and dinner.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Stockton traveled to Chester last Friday to met family members, Frances P. Motley and son Rion, of Hampton, Malcolm Fore, of Chesterfield, Marsha Paulson and son Chase of Richmond, Rachel P. Pearson, of Lawrenceville, Jean Derrenbacker, of Richmond, and Gwen Paulson, of Chester, for lunch at Howlett's. They were celebrating Frances Mot-ley's birthday.

Richard and Margaret Stockton visited Mrs. Mildred Harvey Shanks last Friday afternoon.

Mrs. Peggy Kelsey has enjoyed being able to attend the ball games at Hampden-Sydney and Prince Edward County High School. Her grandson, Darrell Shumaker is a pitcher for the high school team.

Special Blessings of Glenn Memorial Baptist Church at Prospect, Shirley Fulcher, Evelyn Shelton and Jeannette Tarlton, met last Monday to make scarves and blankets.

Mrs. Flora Bolt spent March 27 visiting first at Holly Manor where she visited Mrs. Edna Smith and Robert Dowdy then at Brookview where she visited Ruth Southall, Page Johnson and Dot Shumaker.

On March 29 Mrs. Flora Bolt visited Mrs. Edna Woodson and Charles Southall Jr. at Trinity Mission. William Woodson was visiting his wife, Edna Woodson.
