A belated Happy Birthday is wished to the Rev. William “Bill” Clark, he celebrated his birthday last Sunday March 11, now on March 17 he and his bride Jane will be celebrating their anniversary.
Thursday March 1, Mrs. Flora Bolt visited friends, Mrs. Edna Woodson and Charles Southall Jr. at Trinity Mission Sunday, March 4, Mrs. Flora Bolt attended church with Mr. and Mrs. Steve (Terri) Bolt, Haley and Payden. They enjoyed lunch at Long John Silvers.
The Kelsey clan gathered for supper on Sunday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mike (Sarah) Schember. Enjoying the fellowship and supper were Mr. and Mrs. Carl (Sadie) Kelsey, Mr. and Mrs. Robin (Jennifer) Dixson, Nancy Williams of Newport News, from Florida Gerald Palmer, Leah Palmer and Kevin Palmer; Ruth K. Simpson of Tuggle, Susan Shirley, Rachel McBride, and Mike's father Paul Schember.
Justin Chilton, a student at Christopher Newport, spent last week with his mother Jennifer Dixson and grandparents, Carl and Sadie Kelsey.
The “Special Blessings” from Glenn Memorial Baptist church traveled to Lynchburg last Monday to purchase materials for their upcoming projects. Those making the trip were Shirley Fulcher, Shirley Mottley, Evelyn Shelton and Jeannette Tarlton.
Mrs. Flora Bolt visited Ruth Southall and Paige Johnson at Brookview on Wednesday.
Mrs. Lois Gager hosted a birthday luncheon on Tuesday for the gang. Attending the luncheon were Mrs. Flora Bolt, Betty Meadows, Eliz Manis, Irene Layne, Shirley Young and Marie Ann Smith.
Mrs. Flora Bolt and Mrs. Betty Meadows attended the funeral for Mrs. Margaret Johnson last Friday.
Family, friends and neighbors wish a speedy recovery for those who are sick at this time; Mrs. Peggy Kelsey; Frances Johns; Mrs. Christine H. Oliver; Ms. Patsy Horne; Mrs. Shirley Fulcher; Mrs. Elizabeth Mason; Mrs. Cecelia Culler and Mrs. Page Johnson.
Friends and neighbors are extending their sincere sympathy to the families of Mrs. Mary Noblin and Mrs. Margaret Johnson. They will be missed by all those who knew and loved them.

Calvary Chapel-Farmville invites you to worship with them on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. They invite you to join them each week on Wednesday evening for Bible Study for all age groups at 7 p.m. Calvary Chapel-Farmville is located at 45 Simpson Road in Prospect, two miles west of Dowdy's Corner just off of US 460.
