The Dillwyn Christmas Parade has been cancelled for Sunday, December 8, due to inclement weather. There is no word if it will be held at a later date. Stay tuned to The Farmville Herald for updates.

The Cumberland Christmas Parade has been postponed from Sunday, December 8, to Sunday, December 15 at 2 p.m. at the courthouse. The lineup and other details of the parade remain the same.

Also, the Buckingham County community Christmas tree lighting scheduled for tonight, Friday, at 7 p.m. at the Buckingham Courthouse has been cancelled due to inclement weather. If you know of someone who had planned to attend, or to take part in the event, please notify them.
