Editor, The Herald:

I recently completed the third Citizen’s Police Academy. I would like to thank the Farmville Police Department and everyone that worked together to ensure that this class was such a huge success. This was a valuable learning and hands-on experience, in and out of the classroom: all dispatch, police department, courtrooms, patrol, and magistrate, etc., from beginning to end.

I feel I speak for all participants in the class in saying that it was a true honor to have spent this time with everyone. The hard work, the time given, and life-shared experiences were priceless. I encourage everyone to take part in the next class as it becomes available in the near future. We are truly served and protected.
