HAMPDEN-SYDNEY — Hampden-Sydney Head Lacrosse Coach Ray Rostan released the Tigers' 2014 schedule on Thursday.

The schedule leads off with the annual season opener vs. Mary Washington, this year in Fredericksburg, on February 15 at 1 p.m. while the home opener will be against another familiar foe, Catholic, on February 26 at a time to be determined. The rest of the non-conference slate includes long-time rivals in Christopher Newport (away, March 1), Cabrini (away, March 8), Ohio Wesleyan (home, March 12), and Greensboro (away, March 26).

The ODAC opener will be March 15 on the road against second-year program Bridgewater College, mentored by H-SC alumnus Mic Grant '91. The ODAC slate includes road contests at Randolph-Macon (March 22), Guilford (April 2), Randolph (April 23), and the regular season finale (April 26). The home portion of the ODAC schedule will see the Tigers host two perennial top-20 teams in Lynchburg (April 12) and Roanoke (April 19) in addition to Virginia Wesleyan (March 29) and Shenandoah on April 5 for Greek Weekend.
