Virginia Market News Service reported the following weekly ag trends on Aug. 7.
In Virginia, state graded feeder cattle $3 to $18 higher with a heavy influence from the Radiant CVCA sale. Feeder cattle at regular auction sales $1 to $3 lower. Slaughter cows steady to $5 lower. Wheat 29 cents to 34 cents lower, new crop 20 cents lower. Corn mostly steady to 17 cents lower, new crop mostly 3 cents lower. Soybeans mostly 10 cents to 14 cents lower, new crop mostly 10 cents lower.
