Ann L. Goforth 

Ann L. Goforth departed this life on Monday, June 2. She was born in Sevierville, Tennessee to Clifford Leatherwood and Zelma Leatherwood Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Goforth Sr.; son, James C. Goforth Jr.; sister, Ruby Fumea and brothers, Bobbie and Coy Leatherwood. 

Ann is survived by her daughter, Sandra Collins-Epker (Kenny); son, Charles S Goforth; grandson, Tony Dale Collins Jr. (Sherry); granddaughters, Jessicca Phillips and Jenifer Bazer; great granddaughter, Alyssa Jade Collins, Zach, Jesse, Miha, Mary Jane, McKenzie and Caleb Bazer; sister, Mae Goforth and brothers, Jack Leatherwood (Linda) and Tommy Leatherwood (Debbie).

Ann worked at Virginia National Bank in Farmville and retired from Bayport Credit Union in Newport News. Ann was a member of Newmarket Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with all her Sunday school ladies. She enjoyed baking and caring for her family and friends. 

An indoor service will be held on Wednesday, June 25, at 1 p.m. at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum chapel. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
