Rosemary Love BookerRosemary Love Booker, 78 of Gladstone, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 13, at her home. She was the beloved wife of Malcolm A. Booker Jr. for 57 years.

She was born in Asheville, North Carolina, on Feb. 25, 1947, and was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Garrett Love and the late Joseph Franklin Love. Rosemary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a dedicated children’s ministry teacher for many years at Liberty Chapel Baptist Church and loved antiquing.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, Rochelle Booker, of Appomattox, Malcolm Booker III and wife Rebecca, Coleman Booker, Sarah Booker, all of Gladstone,and Peter Booker and wife, Anna Newton, of Albany, New York; five grandchildren, Malcolm IV, Annah, Robert, Catherine and Betsy; and a brother, Gary Love and wife, Christine, of Buckingham, with children, Chuck, Stephanie, Christy, Jennifer and David.

Rosemary was preceded in death by one brother, Steven Love, who is survived by his wife June, with children Craig, Mandy and Jennifer.

A private family graveside service will be held on Friday, April 18, at the Booker Family Cemetery, officiated by Dr. Phillip Wiley.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 17, at Robinson Funeral Home.
