To my understanding Mr. Rob Atkins will be retiring from his role with the Town of Farmville on Friday, Feb. 28.  Rob was a true servant of the people of Farmville. He did everything within his power to help the homeowners of Farmville, whatever the problem was, Rob would be at your doorstep to listen to your concerns. He is truly one of the Last of the Mohegans, he cares about the residents and the town of Farmville.  No matter what the issue was, day or night, rain or shine, he and his team were on the job.  He was always pleasant, professional and tried to alleviate your concerns no matter what the problem.  

He conveyed that same caring attitude to the members of his department.  Yes, Rob Atkins will be sorely missed after 44  years of service to the people of Farmville.  I know that I speak for myself and all the residents of Farmville, wishing him a pleasant and rewarding retirement.  You’ve earned it Rob.
