Homer L. SpringerHomer L. Springer, 85 of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away peacefully on Feb. 14 surrounded by his loving family. He was a creative force, bringing together many styles and media to his artistic creations, including his experiences of world travel, and life-long study. He taught for 33 years in the Department of Art at Longwood University in Farmville and he loved inspiring his many students and guiding their development.
