Mary Frances Jackson Gee, 86 of Charlotte Court House, passed away on Feb. 15, in Farmville. She was the daughter of the late James Walter Jackson and Nancy Holcomb Jackson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Delano Gee; her siblings, James Jackson, Barbara Scott, Woodrow Jackson, Gladys Jackson, Elizabeth Spradley, Clem Jackson and Patricia Leveretta; and daughter-in-law, Phyllis Harris Gee.
She leaves to cherish her memories: four children, Rodney Gee and Carol Clark, both of Charlotte Court House, Ricky Gee (Lynda) of Prospect, and Kevin Gee (Cheryl) of Cullen; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; her bonus extended families; sisters, Lillie Mae Scott and Nancy Walker (Phillip) of Prospect, Shirley Brown (Walter) of Farmville; a former daughter-in-law, Joan Faggins (Weldon) of Charlotte Court House; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2 p.m., at St. Andrews Baptist Church in Cullen with interment in the church cemetery. The family received friends on Saturday, Feb. 22, from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home in Charlotte Court House. Condolences may be expressed at http://www.JeffressFuneralHome.com.
