Dolores Jane Faxon, 92 of Buckingham County, passed away February 15. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Grace; her two daughters, Darlene and Sharon, and her two husbands, John and Jack.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Dawn Joyner (John), Laura Sanner (Perry Jr.), Evan Wills (Robin), Michelle and Sarah; eight beautiful great grandchildren and one lovely great-great granddaughter.
Her passions included bowling, cards and animals. She regularly donated to the SPCA and was a huge supporter of our nation’s veterans. She absolutely adored her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchild and never missed an opportunity to spoil them rotten. She was greatly adored and will be greatly missed.
The family will receive guests for a visitation at Bliley’s Funeral Home on Staples Mills Road in Richmond, on Monday, Feb. 24, at 1 p.m, with a service to follow at 2 p.m. She will be laid to rest on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 1:30 p.m., in Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, Maryland.
