Jackie Dickerson Smith, 69 of Rice, passed away on Jan. 6.
She was born in Farmville on Jan. 14, 1955 to the late George Raymond Dickerson Sr. and Elizabeth Abbitt Dickerson.
She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Zachery Trent.
She is survived by her brother, George Dickerson Jr.; a sister, Lisa D. Marston (Greg); grandson, Christopher Trent; niece, Kelly Rae Dickerson; nephews, William Marston (Rebecca), Mathew Dickerson (Autumn) and Benjamin Marston (Jessica).
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 16, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
