Just before the Christmas break, students from Randolph-Henry High worked together with members of the Farmville Cub Scouts to bring smiles to homebound senior citizens in Charlotte County.

The students from Sara Ruppel-Lee’s class signed, added labels and stuffed envelopes for 500 Christmas cards. The cards had been designed by the Scouts. Each of the Christmas cards were delivered before the holiday, filled with warm wishes and offering Christmas cheer, with a goal of reminding seniors they are loved and remembered during this season.

“A huge thank you to the students of Randolph-Henry High School and the Farmville Cub Scouts for their teamwork and kindness—it’s heartwarming to see the true spirit of the holidays in action,” said Randolph-Henry Principal Erin Davis.
