Deborah Ann Riley Dupont, 55 of Appomattox, died Saturday, Jan. 11, at her residence. She was the wife of Omer Arthur “Buz” Dupont III.
Born in Nassau County, New York, on Nov. 10, 1969, she was a daughter of the late Ann Frances Cullens and Edwin George Riley. She was a Registered Nurse for 30 years serving in the Army Reserves and employed by Centra Southside Hospital.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Brianna Hope Marsh and husband, Charles R. of Wichita Falls, Texas, Nicholas Andrew Zubrinitz, Alexandra Nicole Dupont and Nathaniel Ryan Dupont all of Appomattox; her unofficial adopted daughter, Cassidy South; two brothers, Daniel Joseph Riley and wife, Ann of Appomattox and Robert John Riley and wife, Kara of Knoxville, Tennessee; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Rasheed, Dr. O’Neill and their staff and to Centra Hospice of Farmville for their care and support.
A private memorial service will be held.
