The Prince Edward County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in identifying a suspect in a break-in over the weekend. On Saturday, Dec. 28, Prince Edward deputies responded to an alarm call at 4:20 a.m., coming from the Pump and Pantry convenience store. That’s located at 3810 West Third Street, near Dowdys Corner.

When they arrived on scene, Prince Edward deputies found the building’s front door had been damaged. Also, money and other items had been stolen from inside. The incident is still under investigation and officials ask that anyone who recognizes the person in the photo or has any information about this crime to call the Sheriff’s office at 434-392-8101 or Crimesolvers at 434-392-3400.
