I’m hoping for clarity after reading your September 7 article on ‘internet outages caused by dove hunters’. Can someone please explain how shooting mourning doves roosting on power lines is considered sport? Are these birds a good source of food ? Are they a toxic threat? Are they dangerous to people? Are they simply target practice? I just can’t figure it out. Thank you.
