Two people are in jail, facing drug charges after an investigation by the Prince Edward Sheriff’s Office. After an investigation on Scott Drive that started on July 23, deputies arrested both 73-year-old Abdul Nasir and 35-year-old Quashaunna Williams. Both Nasir, from Prospect, and Farmville resident Williams face one count of possession of a schedule 1 or 2 controlled substance. They were taken before a magistrate, before being transported to Piedmont Regional Jail in Farmville.
