I must disagree with my friend Linda Lee regarding her applaud for Lucy Klaus in pointing out different points of view. Patsy Watson, Democrat, expressed what she sees as important issues in the November election. One issue being that women should have control of their medical decisions . Never once did Mrs. Watson condemn anyone who has a different belief.

On the other hand in every letter to the editor in this newspaper, Ms. Klaus has condemned anyone and everyone who believes differently about anything. I disagree with many of my friends, but do not condemn them. I take the commandment “Love thy neighbor. No exceptions” seriously.

Ms. Klaus is not the only person who has had publications with hostility printed in this paper. This hostility has no intent to change minds, but to alienate people who dare to think for themselves.

It really is possible to express opinions with logic and common sense without hostility.
