Gladys Thompson Albert-Parker, 95 of East Orange, New Jersey, formerly of Rice, passed away July 20. Funeral service was held on July 28, at 2 p.m., at Gravel Hill Baptist, Jetersville. Interment was in the Star Hope Cemetery, Rice. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville served the family.

Ruth Lorene Green, 80 of Dillwyn, passed away July 29. Funeral service took place on Monday, Aug. 5, at 1 p.m., at Zion Baptist Church, Dillwyn. Interment was in the church cemetery. Reid’s Funeral Home of Dillwyn served the family.

Barbara Mae Galloway, 96 of Farmville, passed away July 20. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10, at 2 p.m., at First Baptist Church, Farmville. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville is serving the family.
