The Ruth Adams Garden Club welcomed in Barbara Wheeler as the speaker at their June 26 meeting. Among her many accolades, Barbara is a Master Gardener and Treasurer of the South Central District of VA Federation of Garden Clubs. She is past president and a member of the Buckingham-Dillwyn Garden Club. Also she has exhibited at “Arts and Flowers” at the VA Museum of Fine Arts. Barbara made several arrangements at the meeting and shared many tips on floral design, containers, flowers and greenery to use to achieve a beautiful floral arrangement. She gave the flowers she arranged to several lucky members.
