Bertha “Jitterbug” Langlois went to be with the Lord on the 13th of July. She was born in Prince George’s County, Maryland on the 14th of February 1942 to Thomas Moore and Aurelia (Sweeney) Moore.

She was a mother of six; Marie, Arthur, Michael, Christopher, Susan, and Paul and had many siblings, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

Bertha never met a stranger and loved everyone. Even though she will be missed, Bertha is with her husband, Arthur Langlois, who preceded her in death.

She may now rest.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, from 6-8 p.m., at Shorter Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 19, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Shorter Funeral Home with interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
