Janet Lorraine HeathJanet Lorraine Heath, 62, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, June 7. She was the daughter of Percy David Heath Jr. and the late Mary Frances Hanes Heath.

Janet’s life was richly lived in service and kindness. She was a beacon of light in our lives. Janet’s life as a B.S.N., R.N. Emergency Room nurse was a heartfelt mission and stewardship of St. Mary’s Hospital. Janet’s sweet spirit touched everyone whom she came in contact with. Her caring and loving heart was exemplified through her willingness to help others; her love of nursing and human life was expressed through all of her being. Her patients were priority one.

Janet gave so freely of her nursing skills to all of her family members. Her presence in the life of the children of her family gave them overwhelming joy.
