Richard Elmer Hart, 85 of Rice, passed away on May 17. He was born in Hartford, Connecticut to the late Edward and Marcella Jordan Hart on Jan. 31, 1939.

He is survived by his wife, Valerie Kramer Hart; a son, Richard Hart Jr. (Sherry) of Vermont; granddaughters, Jessica Fuster and Reba Hart both of Vermont and great grandchildren Lexi and Damon Fuster, Eve Hart Paradis all of Vermont.

Richard loved truck driving and riding his favorite horse “Gus” and spending time with his family. He was loved and will be missed.
