Central Virginia Arts members show off their work

Central Virginia Arts (CVA) presented the work of its members at a reception on May 10 at the Riverside Café, 522 North Main Street, Farmville. Artists included, from left, Ursula Burgess, Donna MacRae Jones, Livia Barros-Gonzalez, Deborah McClintock, Donna Taylor and Marianne Dennison. Shirley Blackwell, also an exhibitor, was not present. The exhibit may be seen Mondays through Saturdays, 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. through June. Central Virginia Arts, a partner of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, is a non-profit organization offering lectures, workshops, exhibits, tours and socials throughout the year. Artists and art appreciators are encouraged to join. CVA serves Appomattox, Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland, Lunenburg, Nottoway and Prince Edward Counties.
