John Clifford Watkins Sr., 80 of Prospect, passed away April 21. Funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27, at 3 p.m., at Calvary Baptist Church, Pamplin. Interment was in the church cemetery. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville served the family. 

Ronnie Ivan Turner, 65 of Charlottesville, passed away April 22. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 4, at 2 p.m., at Salem Baptist Church, Howardsville. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Reid’s Funeral Home of Dillwyn is serving the family.
