Willie Eanell Bowen, 87 of Rice, passed away April 9. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16, at 1 p.m., at New Life Church, Farmville. Interment was in the Monroe Baptist Church Cemetery, Rice. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville served the family. 

Jamel Leon Robinson, 40 of Detroit, Michigan, passed away April 6. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 17, at noon, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Pamplin. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Bland-Reid Funeral Home of Farmville is serving the family.
