Margery Ellen Hopkins Fuller, 99, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at Hickory Hill Retirement Community.
Margery received her bachelor’s degree in Home Economics Education from Bowling Green State University in 1945, where she was a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority. She married Richard G. Fuller on July 5, 1946 in West Springfield, Pennsylvania. They lived in Conneaut, Ohio, where they raised four children. In 1985, after retiring, Marge and Dick moved to the Farmville area. She was an active member of the Farmville United Methodist Church, where she actively participated in United Methodist Women, the church book club and many other church related activities and missions. She was an avid gardener, loved reading books, trying new recipes and walking in the neighborhood.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick and her son, Greg.
Survivors include a son, Brad (Donna) Fuller of Farmville; daughter, Jackie (Bill) Morrison of Pine Mountain Georgia; daughter, Becky (Tony) Venezia of Wheaton, Illinois; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions may be given to Farmville United Methodist Church or Hickory Hill Retirement Community activity fund. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 27, at 2 p.m. in Puckett Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior starting at 1 p.m.
