Dear Editor, 

Our family is strongly opposed to the proposed New Leaf Solar Farm on Old Ridge Road for numerous reasons. While not opposed to solar power in general, locating this solar farm in the midst of two established subdivisions and beside the Bush River makes no sense. The disadvantages far exceed the advantages. If this company is so intent on locating in Prince Edward, they can certainly find a location that does not impact approximately 30 families within a mile radius and cause environmental issues next to a river.
