The Heart of Virginia Community Band will offer a free concert on Monday, March 11, at 7:30 p.m. in Jarman Auditorium at Longwood University. Appropriate for its March concert, the band will play a series of marches, including The Liberty Bell March, The Iowa Band Law March, Thunder and Blazes, Chopin’s Funeral March and March of the Toys from “Babes in Toyland” under the direction of David Ganzert.
