Claude “Kippy” West, born April 12, 1958, passed away March 18.

He is survived by his wife, Pennie West; daughter, Melissa Churchill (Wayne); sister, Gloria Garrison (Stanley); brother, Tommy West (Penny); sister, Fay Pack (Rick); sister, Gay Thompson (Martin); sister in-law, Betty Davis; many adopted children; multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many “special friends”

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Misty Yowell; son, William “Billy” Francisco, and both his parents, Naomia and Arvel West 

Kippy was known for his strong love for family, his wicked sense of humor, his huge heart and always willing to help others 

Kippy was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23, from 1 – 3 p.m., at Spring Creek Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow starting at 3 p.m. with interment in the church cemetery.
