Bessie R. Sharpe, 76 of Dillwyn, passed away Jan. 7. Funeral service was held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 14, at the Chapel of Reid’s Funeral Home. Interment was in the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Dillwyn. Reid’s Funeral Home of Dillwyn served the family. 

Sunny William Braxton, 66 of Dillwyn, passed away Jan. 7. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, Jan. 16, at noon, at the Chapel of Reid’s Funeral Home. Interment was in the Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery, Dillwyn. Reid’s Funeral Home of Dillwyn served the family. 

James Samuel Edmonds, 86 of Dillwyn, passed away Jan. 5. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Jan 17, at 11 a.m., at the Chapel of Reid’s Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery, Dillwyn. Reid’s Funeral Home of Dillwyn is serving the family. 

Francine Patterson Giles, 85 of Dillwyn, passed away Jan. 10. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, Jan 18, at 1 p.m., at Second Liberty Baptist Church, Dillwyn, Interment in the church cemetery. Reid’s Funeral Home of Dillwyn is serving the family.
